Holistic Integrated Creative Arts Therapy is a mental health profession that uses the creative process of art making to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages. The world needs more practitioners who can bring healing and transformation through the creative arts, and you can be one of them.

We are the only holistic creative arts therapy course that provides the unique advantage of a variety of creative modalities in the one training program. Our content is evenly balanced between theory and practical, ensuring every module has a hands-on practical component for a immersive experience to gain a deeper understanding of the therapeutic potential of the arts.

On-campus course workload
The course consists of 20 comprehensive modules.
Each module is carefully structured to provide you with the necessary theory to grow your knowledge as well as hands on practical activities in each class to build your skillset.
There is approximately 5-7 hours of homework each week that you complete between classes to upkeep the integration of the HICAT teachings. This structure allows you to delve deep into the material, explore your creative potential, and absorb the content away from the classroom.
We cover one module per week: reading the theory in the morning and completing the practical activities after lunch.

You have 6 months to complete the training.
Please note:
Course suitable for persons over 18 years old, including matured aged students.
No previous experience or qualifications required.
No artistic experience necessary.
Course not suitable for those suffering from mental health issues such as schizophrenia.
You must be able to manage your emotional triggers and responses.
There is a materials list you will be required to have or purchase, which should cost you less than $200 to acquire.
